IMHO: This is my all-time favorite Coen brothers movie, so let me tell you why. First off, Nicolas Cage and Holly Hunter are hee-larious and totally lovable, despite their (many) flaws. Every scene is loaded with dark, screwball humor that rivals Fargo. It's eccentric in all the right places, and it grabbed my interest way more than No Country for Old Men or even The Big Lebowski ever did. If Hi McDunnough, The Dude, and Chigurh were in a free-for-all, Hi would jack the Dude's bowling ball, stick up Chigurh with his own captive bolt gun, and then go home to watch the sunset with Ed on a lawn chair. If you haven't seen Raising Arizona yet, take my advice, do yourself a favor and go pick it up.
Stay tuned!
